20% of net villa revenues plus a matching amount from the management company will be donated to Island Aid, a not-for-profit organization established to support community projects throughout the islands. Some of the initiatives planned are:
    • Health education and malaria eradication in partnership with Kirekat Org.
    • Tsunami mitigation structures
    • Artisanal Boatbuilding Program for fisher community support
    • Composting toilets SANIPAN system
    • Photovoltaic panel powered LED domestic lighting.
    • Clean water initiatives to provide safe drinking water and public toilet facilities.
    • Support for village enterprise that encourages production  of sustainable forest and ocean products such as:
    • Internet cafés for children to access the www.
Island Aid's distinguished advisory board will provide project oversight and technical support to ensure that all projects are vetted before funds are allocated.
