Quake and tsunami safe
- The safest location in the Mentawais. Steps lead up a
60 m high hill to a tsunami safe look-out platform
overlooking E-Bay left. Buildings are timber frame and
quake resistant.

E-Bay left has been rated one of the top 100 waves in the
world. Pitstop right is one of the safest beginner waves
in the Islands. Many other breaks within a 30 minute
speedboat ride.
